Sheetal is a co-founder and one of the trustees of Speak2Mentor. In her professional career, she
currently serves as the Director HRBP, Americas, for Checkmarx – the global leader in application
security, assisting security and development teams across industries. With over two decades of
experience, she has actively engaged in the field of people management, collaborating with
others to identify, nurture, and support individual growth.

Sheetal completed her Electronics Engineering degree in Delhi and later earned her Master of
Business Administration from IIMK, Kozhikode, India specializing in Human Resources and
Marketing. Throughout her journey, she has observed the profound impact that the presence of the right mentor, leader, or manager can have, particularly during one’s formative years. This insight has fueled her dedication to providing mentorship to children in greatest need.

Hailing from Delhi, India, she comes from a community that highly values education as a
transformative force for the future. She firmly believes that education is the key to breaking free
from the clutches of poverty and limitations. With this conviction, she aspires to make a lasting
impact and commits to giving back. This commitment is not new to her. During her college
years, she took initial steps towards this mission by tutoring children and actively participating
in various organizations dedicated to guiding and mentoring young minds. Her passion for
education led her to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share her values of giving
back to society’s most deserving segments. 

The mission is clear: to engage with children, attentively listen to their aspirations, address
logistical challenges and constraints, and ask pertinent questions. The organization empowers
